Mattawa Sports and Marine is a family operated small engine specialist shop. As John And Ginette say "If it's got a spark plug, we can fix it!"  Located on Highway 17 west of Mattawa, Mattawa Sports and Marine is your place to go for repairs on snow machines, chainsaws, ATV's, generators, lawn and garden equipment, utility trailers, marine products and many more small engines. 

 

John is a licensed mechanic who upgrades his knowledge every year to keep up with the changing times. His past experience in this field has prepared him to run an efficient shop. He started out as a high-pressure welder in Marathon and then moved back to his home town of Mattawa where he worked for 12 years at Dupuis Sales and Services. After gaining  the experience and knowledge he needed, he took the big step and went on his own. So began Mattawa Sports and Marine in 1996!

 

John's wife Ginette, is also an important contributor to the business, as she manages the accounting and bookkeeping end of it. She also helps out with some of the work required to assure the best customer service available. 

 

Also working along side John and Ginette is Daughter Joanne, also a licensed mechanic who joined this amazing team in 2006. Joanne is there to help you when your small engine gives up on you or decides to test your patience. 

 

John, Ginette and Joanne are looking forward to serving you. They also know that they could not have come this far without the support of the people of Mattawa and area. They take this time to thank their loyal customers for their patronage and continued support.
